I enjoy multiplication because the more times tables you learn the more difficult they become. I found the perimeter of compound shapes rather confusing

I really enjoyed calculating area as well as volume. I also enjoyed formal methods. I think I could improve on multiplying two digit numbers. I am pleased with my home learning as well.

I enjoy doing perimeter and area of shapes because its a bit of a challenge and lots of fun! I also really enjoy doing games on active learn and watching the videos because it teaches me all about maths.

Thank you for your comments so far. Harry although you found perimeter confusing at first, you did achieve success. Hannah, I agree active learn has been very useful, particularly for developing our fluency and for the teaching videos. You may like the maths tutorial link on our blog. Aiden, you're right, your confidence with formal methods has improved greatly. Regular practise multiplying by 2 digits will help in the future.

Halle, what has helped you improve in maths? Sarah I agree you've learnt so much but what do you feel you've improved most?
